About Mines
Mines is a push-your-luck grid game: pick tiles one by one, watch the multiplier rise with every safe reveal, and decide when to cash out before hitting a mine.
You choose how many mines are on the board. More mines mean higher risk and bigger payouts for each safe tile.
How does Mines work?
The board is a 5×5 grid with a configurable mine count (from 1 up to 24). Safe tiles pay; a mine ends the round.
- Set your bet and the number of mines before you start.
- Reveal tiles one at a time — each safe pick increases the multiplier.
- Cash out anytime during an active round to lock in the current payout.
- Hit a mine and the round is lost.
How to play Mines
A typical round looks like this:

Is Mines fair?
Mine placement is derived from the server and client seeds before the first reveal, so the board cannot change mid-round. You can verify the layout afterward with the VFair verification tool.

FAQ
How does mine count affect payouts?
More mines leave fewer safe tiles, so each gem pays a higher multiplier. Fewer mines are safer and pay less per reveal. Mine count is locked before the round starts and cannot change mid-game.
When can I cash out?
After at least one safe reveal, you can cash out anytime during the active round. That locks the current multiplier. Hitting a mine before cashing out ends the round as a loss.
Can the mine layout change after I start picking?
No. Positions are derived from the server and client seeds before the first reveal, so the board is fixed for the whole round and can be verified afterward.
What happens if I leave a round without cashing out?
An active Mines round stays open until you cash out or hit a mine. Unrevealed tiles are still unknown to you, but their mine/gem state was already fixed when the round began.
